Sounds like akathisia, which Abilify can cause. I had it on it and I paced for hours and wanted to crawl out of my skin. It was horrible! 10mg is a lot to start on too! Abilify comes as a liquid so you can actually start at 1mg and titrate up. For me the akathisia went away as I went up, but it was 2 weeks of absolute hell and might put your son off it completely. Talk to the prescriber ASAP as they might want to lower the dose.
