Using the report post icon is the absolute best way to get a post removed/edited or whatever needs being done. This way the whole team sees the report and can act on it much more quickly than by just pm'ing a team member (they may not be logged in to get your message in a timely fashion).

We do not keep records of reported posts to use negatively towards our members. That would be counterproductive to what this site is about, which is support.
