On the way back to my seat, a lady noticed them and said "They look great on you!" and I thanked her a little shyly.

All in all, my first experience wearing them in public was a little intimidating at first, but the lady that complimented me really made me feel comfortable and, in all honesty, pretty confident to do it again in the future!
