Hi winterglen,
or underneath that
maybe you're saying you want a job where you
don't have to "escape into my imagination because it's the only place where I won't be constantly scolded or criticized" ???????
So maybe weigh up what's out there, make some phone calls about vacancies and "get a feel" of what the job and the employers are like from asking some questions/getting a bit of background. If it's easier for you write down some questions you'd like to ask first.
And if you want an easy job, there's
nothing wrong with that considering the
big step you'd be taking in getting into work. But just make sure the one you choose can offer you a little bit more than "easy" too. For such a
big step you really deserve more
whatever the job is e.g. satisfaction, contentment, fulfillment.............
And you know the references/favors you'd need to ask for
aren't actually favors,
you've earned those!!! Sure you
need to ask for them, but just as much the people
need to give them to you because you've put in the effort to deserve them!!!
But anyway, back to the scolding and criticizing!! Of course that
really can't be helping you, do you want to talk a bit more about that........?
Here for you
Alison
