Thanks. Somehow I didn't think to do that specific search. I noticed that Anorexia is also listed as a cause, so I suspect malnutrition is involved, not just a matter of messing up the functioning of the GI, stomach and esophagus. It's been over 30 years since I had an ED but the intolerance to cold is starting to really limit my activities. Due to discomfort after meals (therefore eating less) in the past year, I've lost 10 pounds. I think I'll have to start figuring out how to gain weight now without eating things that cause GI distress. Unfortunately that's pretty much everything, at least in a portion large enough to maintain weight. Maybe I should start juicing veggies - at least some of the bulk would be reduced without significant reduction in nutrients.
