Oh goodness, I'm tired for you. I know it seems like empty advice from someone who isn't there, but be yourself and focus on the moment, controling your heart rate and breathing. Thinking about the "what ifs" or what is coming next, is extremely tiring.
Focus on what is in front of you. Enjoy the moment. Embrace the "come what may" of the moment.
You can get back into your comfort zone soon enough. Maybe if you can view it as an adventure rather than an expedition it will seem exciting and not a burden.
Your family loves you and wants to see you. That is a good thing.
I hope you can enjoy yourself.
