Sorry about your experience so far on the forums and in chat.

The warning you received when trying to post could have been for a couple of reasons.

1. If you were trying to make a post in our Social Group forums and were not a member of that group, you would not be allowed to post in that forum. You first must join a social group in order to partake in their forums.

2. There are rare times when someone makes a post on a thread and before they have finished and pressed the submit post button, the thread has been removed for some reason. It is rare, but it does happen on occasion.

Chat can be a different experience every time you go into it. It's sometimes difficult but it's not good to assume things either. We don't know why members may not be chatting openly at the moment. As others have said, they may be away from the computer, they indeed may be whispering to another chatter privately and there are also times when someone may be lagged (meaning servers are not synced) and unable to post anything in chat for a bit. Those are 2 distinct possibilities and I'm sure there are others.

I don't believe that anyone was trying to be rude to you on purpose or had any ill intent towards you. By all means, enter chat and take a moment to see what's going on, if there is any discussion happening. If not, then post a hello to folks to see if you get a response. If nothing goes in that room, try another room.
