So every now and then, I come up with some "brilliant" idea that I am enthralled with for about 3 days and then forget all about.
Here is the latest one:
I will start a publishing company to publish my book. But I won't stop there! We will also publish a magazine coming out every other month, and the novel I'm working on, and books by others with mental illness.
Everyone hired by my company, from the editors to the janitors, will have a diagnosed mental illness. We'll be one steaming pot of unstable, beautiful, energetic creativity. Everyone will have accommodations to help them through work, be it working part time, assistance with organization, or simply being in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment.
Many of us can't do the 9-to-5-sitting-in-a-cubicle-all-day thing. But I fully believe that those of us with MI have a lot to offer the world.
If you think this is an awful idea, fret not. I'll probably forget about it tomorrow.
