I found out my youngest (19) was pregnant on Christmas Eve.
Many of you know that horrible difficulties my youngest daughter has been having with her health since finding out she's pregnant. She is ill, losing massive weight, very sick with rapid tachycardia, palpitations, rage, etc. She was dx'ed with Grave's Disease and it wasn't known until she became acutely hyperthyroid during the pregnancy. Things were just going from bad to worse when the dr. said her liver counts were high as well and she had to have a liver ultrasound. The nurse said if anything showed up they'd call.
They called this morning. I literally had to sit down in the middle of the kitchen to keep from passing out. So much has been going on and my worry and anxiety have been so great...non-stop. They called to say that her thyroid counts have dropped so much that they need to test her early so that she doesn't become HYPOthyroid on the meds!!!! They then said the liver ultrasound was FINE!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! She's still very weak and sick, but this is hope of feeling/doing better...her and the baby.
My oldest (24) calls today and me and her, her hubby and little man go to dinner. I'm dealing with little man, getting him adjusted, settling in, etc., and she looks at me, smiles and says, "Mom, I'm going to have a baby!!!!" JOY!
As far as we can tell, they're about two months apart. She'll be seeing the same OB dr. as he's AWESOME.
Going from having no grandchildren and raising a four year old, to having two grandchildren within a couple of months! Can I stand it???? YES, I THINK I CAN!!!
Love ya's!!!
