There are several programs that are run out of McLean, I was admitted to the Outpatient Behavioral Program. I was there for three weeks, which is a bit longer than the average, but I got quite a lot out of the psychoeducation programs they offer.

It really has changed the tools I have to deal with frustrations and challenges. Honestly, I should have gone sooner.

I would seriously recommend it to pretty much anyone- you have to want to be there though.

ETA: I would also add that they integrate many approaches into the program- it seemed much of the program was developed out of DBT principles- even in the Mood Disorder Track [and there are a few "tracks" depending on what you need to work on] and integrated into that was CBT and ACT at least.

THANK YOU. I am looking for a program with a focus on DBT. I've done some individual work (with the DBT workbooks by the original researchers) and have found it useful. Right now I'm at a personal low where I need more personal focused attention. Do you mind if I ask you how expensive it was?
Thank you again.
