try out new things? little tiny things? i know thats so hard in depression because everything is hard even getting out of bed much less being active. i feel like a hypocrite suggesting this because when i get depressed everything seems impossible. but sometimes doing a tiny thing can help. and inertia works both ways: keeping stagnant or getting moving.
or at least try to avoid things that make you feel worse.
