It matters not how long it's been and when you started accepting your issues and getting help with them. What matters is that you DID do something for YOU! I think many women bypass their own health issues when raising a family. Everyone else comes first. As we get into our 40's we find there is more "ME" time because the kids are getting older and don't need us 24/7 like they used to. My 40's was when I finally was able to concentrate on me for a change. Big changes were made to my way of thinking and my lifestyle. But, I refuse to believe that the time before that was wasted. It was a complete learning experience that gave me the basis to grow on when I was ready.

But, I totally agree with you that there is hope, and the sooner one can get help with their issues, the better. We all deserve "ME" time....for if we can't take care of ourselves, how will we care properly for our family now and in the future?
