It's about setting life goals, gaining independence, and also recovery.
At the moment my main doubt is whether I am crazy enough to be there.

I bet every participant is thinking exactly that..... I am not be crazy enough for the program....
If it makes sense in your heart, ask for a syllabus- like an agenda of what will happen when and a list of expected outcomes for the participants. What tools do the group leaders want to give you so that you are successful when you leave. Ask them how much freedom you will have, like can you listen to your music, find out if it is 12-step. If this is something you don't like, don't go. See if they will give you the breakdown of participants, for example, Anna has anxiety , Betty boop has bipolar 2, shy charley has fear of public speaking and being out. If the challenges they are facing resonate with you, it could be a useful adventure. If you walk in and you feel like a fish out of water, this is not what they promised kind of thing, say thanks, but no thanks and go home enjoy a cold beer/soda/water whatever you drink.
Good luck!
