Samantha, have you considered checking out a Unitarian Universalist church in your area? It might give you the spiritual sanctuary you need.
I attend one in Norfolk, VA. Ours is a "Welcoming" church, accepting of all lifestyles (in this case, the GLBT community). There's a Wiccan group that meets once a month and periodically conducts Sunday worship services. We have a Buddhist group, a military group (I'm a co-founder), Girl Scout troop, etc. I've had the opportunity to hear some wonderful speakers: a rabbi, a cleric, a Wiccan high priestess (who's at the UU seminary to become a reverand).
