I have this extreme fear as well. It started from when I got severe ventricular fibrillations from starting Prozac (basically almost sudden death).

Now I think about it every time I'm anxious. I had a few ekgs done before and they say it's fine but that was before the Prozac.

Recently I had a bad panic attack and went to the ER. I hadn't slept for over 2 days prior to that and needed clonazepam to sedate me on top of risperidone 2mg which did nothing. I took 5 zzzquils as we'll and that did nothing before the panic attack.

So it's very serious to obsess about breathing and cardiovascular problems. I'm 100% sure what to do and that is to eat healthy (which made a huge difference on palpitations) and somehow not being so stressed to cause anxiety/panic. For me something sedating like alcohol every now and then helps because therapy isn't working as they aren't taking the problem seriously. Also what helps is to completely ignore it even though it's a problem (because to me it sounds like it is). We won't get a heart attack. Maybe we will.. But that's what we have to do I know it's hard.

Psychiatrists are being real jerks they hate benzos so much they would rather mate with an angry rhino than prescribe them. The only way I got prescribed clonazepam last year was because I had a foreign doctor prescribe.

I don't recommend alcohol though. Maybe heroin. Ya.. That's better.
