I tried. Her response was "oh you are just too quick to want to say that people who leave are gone for good". Yes. I believe the brain dies at death and therefore so does consciousness. I believe she is gone for good. "Well okay but I don't believe that" Congrats...? How is that supposed to help me...? And then I aggressively changed the subject because I don't want to deal with that.
