Schizophrenia and psychosis stuff run in my family and I know I have a cousin who is struggling right now from being sober. I think a lot of us have used various things in the past to run away from symptoms, and then when we become sober the mental challenges become all the more apparent. But it is really hard and will probably take a while to get a firm diagnoses of any sort, and you may never get one. These symptoms can be caused by drugs and get worse after sobriety too. I know it sucks not having answers though. I hope docs are able to figure something out for you.
