I never associated flu like symptoms with my depression.

However, I have felt that way in terms of my anxiety... i.e. breaking out into cold sweats, erratic and elevated heart beat (chest pain), hyperventilating, etc.

The bodily aches and pains, can be related to depression. I've experienced this, but not on a CONSTANT basis.

Maybe... ? You had all of these symptoms, but your attention/focus wasn't on them when you were manic?

I don't really know since I don't have experience with mania, but that was just my best guess. Either way, the symptoms you described are not out of the norm. However, if they continue.. I would consult your doctor about possible side effects from your medication, in case that is the cause.

I'm sorry you are going through this when you already feel horrible. I hope you find the answer soon.
