Alot of postive self talk. I do that more then deep breathing. I use to do abdominal breathing whenever I feel panicky. But I have to talk more then anything else.. because now when I do self talk I can literally talk myself out of anxiety ... It took me many years to master it to the point of it literally making it go away.

But, abdominal breathing is key, talking to yourself and letting yourself know that you're ok, that it will past. yes you will feel uncomfortable, but it will go away.

In a way it's mind over matter, you can back away from the situation, but that's not fixing the problem, ya know what I mean?

Anxiety Sucks! Not going to lie, because I myself have been getting them all the time now. And it feels terrible. But now I can go and do anything I want even if I feel panicky. Never could do that before.

Read the book don't panic, it's great.

Also, write something postive down, postive sentences that will help you when you feel anxious.

Read it where ever you are, keepy it in your purse, that will help. You don't have to talk out loud....

Hmm, well that's all I can think of right now..

Basically, don't avoid places, people, situations that cause you anxiety, go out of your comfort zone, and if you have to take a step or 2 back if you are feeling to over-whelmed that's ok, as long as you keep at it and not stay away too long.

What situations are causing you anxiety?
