You can do it. There is nothing to be ashamed of. If you think you have an addictive personality which you kind of said you did, then tell them you don't want ambien or benzodiazapines. Both are very addictive. Addiction is a disease just like depression. Hopefully your Pdoc understands addiction. Most do nowadays.

Remeron and Trazadone are Anti Depressants that are not addictive and are safe and used alot for sleep. I take Remeron at night and it works great, at least for the first four or five hours.

Klonopin .5mg twice a day, cutting this back
