Certainly understandable. Meds are a whole other issue in themselves.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Meditation
Mindfulness
Journaling
Support from familiy
Online support
Friends, I believe it is very important to have at least one person you can tell absolutely every thing to.
Lots of different types of therapies you can learn on your own.
See a therapist
Group therapy and support groups
