I keep thinking about this...and yes there is plenty of hate in the world. I think there is plenty of hate for anyone, in fact, too much. If I, as a Christian, wished to focus on those who hate me just becuase of that and fail to get to know me, yes I would be sad, and also upset.

I liked razeljenny's response, reminding all of us (if we choose to see it) to rise above the earthy misgivings of humans, and find the good and peaceful. There will always be complainers and haters, and those who have no harmony in their lives. Those of us who do have peace need to draw upon it as often as we can.
