Ozzie, Gloria, thank you so much. I finally was able to calm down last night after a little meditation and soft music. I still feel a little jittery today, but worlds better than before. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support you've given me. My family has a little trouble accepting my difficulties so, to me, it's very comforting to hear advice from people who also have the same or similar conditions.
It's funny you both should mention exercise--I try to exercise almost every time I feel an attack coming. My poor treadmill looks like it's seen better days, LOL! Because one of my symptoms is 'the need to run', it's a great way to take the edge off. I tend not to get anxiety attacks when I'm physically tired. I would have done it last night, but I'd have felt the heat from family members who don't appreciate the treadmill running at 2:00 AM.
Doesn't exercise release seratonins or something? They make you feel good afterwards....anyway. I love running and would recommend it to anyone who is healthy enough to do it. *grin grin*
Thanks again,
Ronni
