Haven't you been able to get insurance under Obama care? You have until the end of this month to sign up. If you need help with this there are navigators you can work with that will help you find an affordable policy.

If you're interested in getting into a study, I would suggest contacting a large teaching/research hospital either in your state or a nearby state. I've seen advertisements for medication studies for specific mental illnesses, but none of them where inpatient.
