Was wondering if anyone has been in my situation where child services were called on you due to self harming? I just had DCFS come to my inlaws asking for me specifically and said that someone reported me. My only guess would be that it was someone that I spoke to while I was in the hospital this week after having surgery for cutting. I'm freaking out, so forgive me if this shouldn't be posted here.

I know they don't know because I either leave the house or do it in private when they're sleeping. My kids are really young, so I make sure they don't see the cuts. They only knew mommy was in the hospital to be fixed up. My kids are well taken care of, I take them to school everyday, work with my oldest with all his sensory issues, and am very involved. I don't consider it neglect or abuse when I've never been home alone with them when I've cut and don't expose them to it.
