What is EFT? I've tried Bach many times, I wish it worked for me cos I spent so much bloody money on it with no results! I have all of that stuff at home still.

- a B-complex that has riboflavin and at least 800 mcg of folate. She recommended
Pure Encapsulations - B-Complex Plus 120 VegiCaps: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

- high quality fish oil. I do not have the instructions on hand - I will post them when I get home. She gave me instructions on how much EPA etc. is needed daily. She told me that if I have a fishy aftertaste or fishy smell or heartburn with a fishy taste after taking fish oil, then that fish oil is no good, and there is no point in taking it. Well, I did sometimes have that fishy aftertaste when I would take Costco fish oil, so I am now trying a different brand, Carlson, which Anika (back when she would come to this forum) recommended. The nurse practitioner herself recommended Nordic Naturals.

I think a big one to add to your list is always keeping yourself well hydrated. Being well hydrated helps to even out the moods and to provide you with mental acuity. It is a tough one for me when I have an anxiety episode, since I feel nauseous and have a hard time eating and even drinking, and not being hydrated only sharpens anxiety, so I go into a downward spiral. But at least when I am at baseline (now I am), I make sure to drink tea, dairy drinks, a little coffee, mango lassi, mineral water or mineral water with a droplet of juice for color and taste, etc. It is a very simple, inexpensive, and basic step - to keep yourself hydrated - but, to me, it is as important as pretty much everything else.
I drink a lot of water (live in a hot climate) and I drink a lot of teas, I am very well hydrated. I have no problem drinking plain water and drink at the very least 2L a day, but usually more, its hard to measure when I just keep a full glass next to me at all times.

The fishoil suppliments and vitamin B I have been on in the past are practitioner prescribed so I know its the good stuff (paid through the nose for it too). Now I take over the counter fishoil but have left it at home this admission, already have a handful of pills to swallow and the nurses take so long to get meds ready. I'll start taking it again when I am at home. I have never found it to ever have an effect on my moods even when on high dosages (as prescribed by my pdoc and GP who practices natural medicine before "medication")

I have over the counter vitamin B at home too but the only effect I noticed on it was that my pee smelled bad! I didnt notice any mood effects on this vitamin B or previous practitioner prescribed vitamin B.

How do I do this? Do I have to believe in anything specific for it to work?

Yep Im on luminosity. Play most days (when I remember)

I do aromatherapy with my oil burner and scented candles at home. While admitted I do a relaxation group which uses aromatherapy oils and we get the scents for our pillows for the night after each session. I enjoy it.

My sex life was very active before this depression, its a bit harder to get in the mood now but whenever I have leave from hospital, we're at it haha.

Herbal teas I love. I drink a shitton of chamomile, peppermint and green teas. I also love my tension tamer and sleepytime teas.

I have done some reiki in the past. I practice it with my animals (not that knowledgeable in it but I do believe in passing on good energy etc). My friend with the crystals was going to do something with my charkras, shes set me up a crystal charkra kit. I was supposed to see her today but was too ill, hopefully I will have the kit by the end of the week. She has done some crystal healing on me that sounds similar to the integrative healing (from what I have read). I will keep pursuing this.
