Well, I suppose the dose used with animals is pretty high per kg to make them virtually paralyzed... Maybe they feel like they're sinking into and coming out of a black hole and that's why they freak out so much (flailing around, screaming, banging their heads on the floor). It was traumatic just to sit with them in recovery sometimes, not knowing how to help, but I did find that putting a towel over their eyes helped a lot. They always seemed to be hallucinating, afraid of something they were seeing, but maybe they were afraid because they were NOT seeing. Thank you, that's actually fascinating information
