I won't go into any detail or anything as I've learned I've been too "open" about myself already. I'm just very conflicted about something and have no one else to ask.
I think I want to write letters to my kids. Just to explain things and how nothing was their fault. The problem is I don't think anyone would give them to them. Even though a couple of the younger ones can read, they're too young to comprehend and the youngest can't read. It's not things I will be able to explain to them in a talk, so I'm just torn on what to do.
Maybe they would understand things more than I'm giving them credit for though. I guess kids tend to comprehend more than we think sometimes.

I guess I'm just asking, do you think you would write letters to your kids trying to explain why things are the way they are? Or do you think some things are just better left without explanation? My intent isn't to "turn them against" anyone. Or maybe it's ok to write it all down, but destroy it without actually giving it to anyone.
What is your opinion?
