It might help to write about what's going on. The act of writing can be calming and getting things out of your head and on to paper can be too.

Changing your surroundings a bit could herp. Dim the lights, light some candles, loewr the noise volume (TV, music).

Good for you for trying different ideas.

One day one thing works for me and another day it's something else. I frequently pace/walk inside my apartment. Sometimes I drink a calming tea called Sleepytime Tea (by Celestial Seasonings, avaiable at the supermarket or online), or I engage my brain and do crossword or other paper puzzles (if I can, sometimes concentration and focus are not there)

Keep a list of what works for you to have as a resource when you might need it again.
