I don't know if the following is emotional abuse or not.

What do you think of a mother saying:

"When your dad and I found out we were pregnant with you he suggested an abortion because I was 38 years old at the time (this was before having children so late was fashionable) and it would be a risky pregnancy, but I don't believe in abortion so I said no."

What do you say to that?
