I have really begun the glycemic loading conciousness now... finally got food into the house that is all good stuff! I really can eat as much as I want, but will work towards portion control as I go along... but all the fruits and vegetables I want doesn't hurt me at all.
I had to go off this way of eating for two weeks, but in the 5 days I began it earnesly again, last Thursday, I weighed yesterday at the PT's I had lost another 4 lbs.
I eat NO white food (bleached flour, enriched breads, sugar, etc) though I can have white fish and cauliflower

Of course some of you know I had already eliminated trans fat and bad fats years ago! But I load up on olive oil, walnuts, apples, and cinnamon (some mustard but I am allergic to tumeric) which things help the body to feel good and lose excess weight.
I recently learned (though I've always been a big advocate of high fiber foods) that if I eat something high fiber 8 hours before I know I will be hungry, that will curb my hunger (has to do with the intestine's control of hunger.) SO since I get the hungries at night, I will add in extra high fiber in my lunch - after-lunch snacks.
I eat every two hours... SOMETHING... and am now not allowing myself to feel hungry ever! AND I drink lots of cold water... as the hunger notifier is also the part that senses a need for water, and sends out the same "hunger" signal
