I try to use really good self care strategies during that time of the month - minimal caffeine, tryptophan to sleep, I also up my calcium and magnesium supplements and get plenty of rest and try to exercise every day. Also just make sure my calendar is as free as possible of stressful events and ask my husband to help me if I am feeling overwhelmed.
Is a prescription needed for Mirena or can I get over the counter? Yes I definitely minimize the caffeine because 1 symptom is over-anxiety. I'll try the calcium and magnesium supplements. Thanks. I find it difficult to exercise during those days.
