I get headaches every time I loose time. Thats usually my first sign that I lost time. Then I look at the clock to see what day and time it really is. My therapist wants me to start keeping a journal of when I lose time. I asked how I can get rid of these headaches and she told me it comes with the territory of my being DID. She said if it didnt I would not have had headaches all my life and asprin would take care of it. But because it has always been there she knows its a part of my having DID and that it will go away when I have more control over using what she calls grounding so that I no longer dissociate. My headaches arent sensative to light, smells and stuff. They just are there and then a few minutes later they are gone. I don't know how it actually works cause my therapist told me that how the brain works and what the headaches are and stuff is for later during a different conversation. Right now she just wants me to concentrate on recognizing when I have lost time and how I feel while doing different things.
