Anybody encountered this situation... when you are looking in store for some clothes and shoes, the clerk tries to offer you something and you say you don't like it and they go to tell you how it's "fashionable/trendy".
It just doesn't make sense to me.
If I cared about fashion, I would already know what is and what is not trendy and would shop accordingly. If I don't care, I won't be convinced.
And by the looks at me, it should be clear I am pretty anti-fashionable. Maybe they are trying to save my soul, but it will not work.
And please, don't try to pass off high heels to me as latest word in fashion. These been around forever. I am not adding any inches to my already freakish height. And I don't care it's "fashion". It's also PRAGUE, with cobble stones and escalators, tram tracks and stairs. Yes, I get it, some women posses the superpower of being able to walk in heels on any surface (Ukrainian and Russian woman especially. I admire their ability, but I can't do it).
(it's interesting though that most people here wear normal shoes. No heels, no sparkly non-sense on them, no bright colors. I wonder where they buy em).
