Sadly, a lot of stores only pay people on commission or put unrealistic 'quotas' they must sell or else they have the loss of the job hanging over their heads.
I tend to stick with thrift stores, Walmart or places like Ross so I don't have to put up with the pressure.
Fashion is the one area of my life that I have not allowed myself to conform to. There's pressure to conform everywhere in this crazy world. I figure, I need to at least be comfortable in my clothes while dealing with the chaotic craziness of being told I don't measure up in life.
