The reason I ask is because I have no children, but I've been told that being on birth control will make it difficult for me if and when I want to get pregnant.

If you have PMDD, how do you deal best with it?

Being on the pill should not make it difficult for you to get pregnant in the future. If you stop the pill your fertility will come back quickly.

I am very hormone sensitive. When i went off the pill i went into a severe hypomanic episode, barely slept for a week, and made some really bad decisions. I haven't used anything hormonal since then because i'm afraid of what might happen. Mirena is supposed to be great though, so i am considering it. Right now i have a copper iud, so it's good for birth control but does nothing to help with pmdd.
