OK well that's definitely odd usually if you are good enough for the school you can usually pick whatever program you want. Is there any way you could take some sort of placement test. I know I had AP chemistry and we took an AP test to place out of the requirement for the first semester of college chem. Have you tried talking to the people in admissions and explaining your situation? I guess also of some importance do you know how to do chemistry because it really is needed for lab work you have to calculate moles etc to make solutions for even the most basic work. If you don't know chemistry then I would try to think about this as a temporary delay because if you tried to do lab work without chem you might end up failing the program so maybe the delay will actually help you in the end? Could you take a chem class over the summer possibly at another school and then transfer the credit to your school so you could start the medical program sooner?
