I had huge noise sensitivity issues a while back. It was triggered by noisy neighbours but continued when they had gone. I would suggest gradual desensitisation to noises. Work with a therapist and start with a noise you won't like but will not make you terrified. Gradually increase the level (within safe limits, don't hurt your ears!) until the anxiety starts to lessen. You may not like loud sudden noises, most people don't but at least it won't terrify you.
