Nevertheless, in America, we're supposed to respect others, and pushing your beliefs is not showing respect. It's easy to say, "I just don't want you to go to Hell," but if you don't believe in Hell, or don't believe you're going, it feels like harassment. I don't push you to deny your god, despite my beliefs that "He" may not exist. And I don't point out other things that I could until someone pushes their beliefs (Christian or otherwise) on me. You may mean it in a nice way, but an atheist could just as well argue that s/he feels you're wasting your life, denying yourself things you could have without harming anyone, etc.
