I would see if I could find a "club" job that would teach you some new skills? I was an officer of the "Friends of the Library" and had to run booksales, etc. Get some sort of different experience so you can claim it as experience on your resume and maybe get a job in a store of some sort? The horrible job woman does sound rather difficult to support; I'm sure there are others in the group who feel as you do. Practice making sure you can support them when one gets brave enough to mention something :-)
