As long as you are fearful the chances are that you will have residual symptoms. So my feeling on this is that you need to normalise the experience in someway . It maybe possible or it may not. Dont worry too much about how your brain works , just get comfortable with it. Im sure APs will help you. Sometimes its beneficial , to say , 'thats just the illness' , it can be reassuring.
