I have only gone to a psychologist three times but one thing that stuck in my mind was that when a person is having a particularly bad day, the thing is not to fight it. Just go with it. You are having a bad day, accept that in the hope that tomorrow will be a better one. We all beat ourselves up about feeling the way we do. Me, I must say that I am more forgiving towards myself. Its o.k. to feel like **** today. Best wishes.
