I find it irritating when mods close threads as frequently as they do on this site. Okay, so people get into a debate, or even an argument...give them a chance to work through things...I'd like to see threads given a chance to live their lives to completion before shutting posters down. In my experience, allowing the discourse to play itself through helps create a more in-depth and intimate community. Treating forum members like grade-school children is discouraging to those of us who would like to form deeper online connections to other members.
