I was turned down not because I was not severe enough, but they claimed that I was one year short in my work history. If it was not for this reason, it would of been for another reason. Maybe they would of challenged my condition since there are others who look worse than me who were turned down for SSDI. I understand this is how the SSDI approval process works.

So do what I did, get a lawyer. I did not have to lift a finger afterwards. She handled everything and even got the decision overturned by the hedge before I had to go to an actual trial. Then she obtained benefits for my daughter. I never had to go to the SS administration building for any of this to obtain my benefits. Furthermore, all of this did not cost me a cent.

I would call this a "no brainer" decision for you. The only problem is the finances as far as surviving until the decision iso made. Remember, you cannot attempt to work, even out of necessity.
