of course it is.......a part of me died when my dog, tippy, died. i'll never be the same. when you love someone/a pet with all of your heart and they leave.....it's always going to hurt. it gets better and there are really good online pet grief support groups......they helped me a lot.....good luck and take care of yourself. oxoxo pat
