Start small. Pick out something that will be a step towards a positive improvement in your life, something that takes about five minutes to accomplish, and do it. These small successes really build up your confidence and can lead to much bigger changes.
Going from no motivation to action can be really hard. I hope you have good luck with it! It sounds like you feel sort of isolated, so maybe spending five minutes looking into a class or volunteer position would be a good start?
