Perhaps it simply means that if your applications qualifies you for the job, then they can talk to you in person immediately, rather than having your application get buried in some other paperwork or "lost" by whoever happens to be at the front desk.

Don't read anything into it and go ahead in.
Take your pertinent info in with you and have your phone to call your mom with any questions....
