Reach out to someone...this is a tough one as I know that it is the last thing I will or want to do...
I would say that is the big number 1 for me. My mom usually can tell something is going as well for me when we don't talk like "normal". I spent a lot of time on the phone the other day with her. Everything on the surface seems to be going ok...Deep inside the thoughts of hopelessness keep churning. My p-doc says we are not our thoughts. Sometimes that hard to accept.
Simpler things I've done:
Watch my favorite romantic comedy...
Journal
Leave the house and go get something - as simply as getting gas or groceries
I'll keep it positive - there are a lot of negative things I do to comfort myself so I won't list those.
