Your in luck. The instruments are very expensive. But you can go to torrent sites and find tons of software to write music again. I used to but it was so time consuming. I got frustrated and it lost it's fun for me awhile back. You should get FL Studio first. Install it then look for VST and DX plug-ins. They are the synths, guitars, all instruments needed. FL will be the composing tool you will use to blend and orchestrate the music together. All the work is done in FL and the plug-ins are loaded into Fl. Youtube has a ton of tutorials to walk you through from learning to use it to writing a full blown production and finally mastering the song into something you can share or sell.
