For that to be true I would have to believe my T lied to me when she said she wouldn't spy on me. I don't believe she lied, so I have no reason to believe she is coming here regularly to see what I wrote. If I would not believe her, I would find another therapist. So effectively I am not being studied, and the Hawthorne effect therefore doesn't apply. And that's why I think this board and what I write has nothing to do with transference.
